Dalel Singh Ror

Dalel Singh Ror is an Indian volleyball player who comes from Amin Village near Kurukshetra (Haryana). He had an International career of around 12 years and also captained Indian volleyball team in 1984, 1987 and 1988. He was a member of Indian team which clinched Bronze Medal at Seoul Asian Games 1986. He is recipient of Bhim Award and Arjuna Award for his outstanding sporting achievements. Dr. Dalel Singh is a well-known name in the academic circles and he served as Director of Sports at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He played a crucial role in uplifting sports facilities for university students. Dr. Singh was nominated by the Govt of India as a member of Monitoring Committee for 13th Asian Games held at Bangkok in 1998. He has also been the Chief Coach of Indian School Volleyball Team which visited Macau in September 1996.
