Surender Kumar

Surendra Kumar made his debut in the junior national team in the year 2012. Participated in Asia Cup, Sultan of Johor Cup and Junior World Cup with junior team. He was bought by Delhi Waverider (DLW) in the Hockey India League in 2015. Due to his excellent performance with HIL and junior team, he got a chance to participate in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup for senior team in the year 2016. He impressed everyone with his performance in this tournament, but despite this, he could not make it to the Rio Olympics. Surendra is one of the few players who never changed their position. He always played in full back. He is a team player and can change the game as needed. He is known for hitting.
